Most people that buy NI key controllers, even the M series, already have a DAW set up on their computer already, so don't bother with it.

For the rest of the NI software, there's a decent chance it's unused, depends if the original owner had other NI gear too (lots of people buy a maschine first, then a key controller later and already have the software bundle from the maschine). I'd ask at CEX to be sure, although chances are they won't have a clue unless their system shows as two different products (check their website catalogue) for including software and not including software (Cash Converters does this, I've seen them selling NI products without software and with at two different prices).įor the 'Start' software, which is the most important, it doesn't matter as you can now dl that free from NI.
